Activity 3: Reading - Maya Finds Her Gate 📖
Read this story about Maya looking for her departure gate.
Maya had just passed through security. Now, she needed to find her gate. She looked at her boarding pass. Her Gate Number was D15, and the Boarding Time was 2:00 PM. First, Maya looked for a big Departures Board. She found her flight to London and confirmed it was "On Time" and still departing from D15. That was good news! The D gates seemed far away. Maya saw a sign for a Terminal Map. She looked at the map and saw that the D gates were in a different part of the terminal. She started walking, following the signs for "Gates D1-D20." It was a long walk, and she was a little worried about the time. She passed many shops and restaurants. Finally, she saw the sign for "Gate D15." She arrived just a few minutes before her Boarding Time! If she had gotten really lost, she knew she could have asked for help at an Information Desk. Maya was happy she found her way.
