Activity I: Vocabulary

Activity II: Reading

Everyone has favorite foods. Favorite foods are the foods we like the most. It's fun to talk about what we like to eat and drink.

Some people like sweet foods, like fruit or cake. Others like salty foods, like chips. Some people enjoy spicy foods that make their mouth feel hot!

Our favorite foods can come from our family or our country. For example, rice is a favorite food in many Asian countries. Pizza is a favorite food for many people around the world.

When we try new foods, we might find a new favorite! It's good to try different things. What is your favorite food? Why do you like it?
